A Place Steeped in History

Hành Cung Vũ Lâm played a pivotal role during one of the most critical periods in Vietnamese history: the Tran Dynasty (13th–14th centuries). The site served as a royal military headquarters for King Trần Thái Tông and his successors during the Mongol invasions of Vietnam in the late 13th century. The sect, which emphasized simplicity, harmony with nature, and meditation, flourished in this serene environment. Today, remnants of Buddhist pagodas and shrines can still be found in and around Hành Cung Vũ Lâm, making it not only a place of historical interest but also of spiritual reflection.
