Indian tourists to visit Trang An Landscape Complex
28/08/2024
On the morning of August 28, a group of 4,500 Indian guests began their tour of Ninh Binh Province by visiting the Trang An eco-tourism area. This marks the largest group of Indian tourists to visit Ninh Binh province, highlighting Ninh Binhs growing appeal to one of Vietnams most significant international tourist markets.
At approximately 11 a.m., over 800 first Indian visitors arrived at the Trang An eco-tourism site, part of the UNESCO-recognized Trang An Landscape Complex, designated a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site since 2014.
To welcome the guests, leaders from the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism presented them with flowers and traditional conical hats.
While Ninh Binh regularly attracts a considerable number of international visitors each year, this is the largest group of Indian tourists ever received. It provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the charm and culture of Trang An Landscape Complex in particular, and Ninh Binh in general.
As planned, the 4,500 Indian tourists will be split into seven groups visiting Ninh Binh between August 28 and September 5. The tourism sector anticipates that hosting such a large group will pave the way for promoting Ninh Binh's attractions to India, the world's most populous nation.
