Australian Senate President visits Trang An ecotourism site in Ninh Binh

On August 25, as part of her official visit to Vietnam, Sue Lines, President of the Australian Senate, along with her delegation, visited the Trang An eco-tourism site, which is part of the Trang An property in Ninh Binh province,
President of the Australian Senate, Sue Lines, and National Assembly Deputy Chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Thanh, visited the Trang An ecotourism site in Ninh Binh province.
Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Thanh, warmly welcomed Senator Sue Lines, expressing her hope that the visit to Trang An would leave a lasting impression on the Senator and her delegation.
Senator Lines remarked that the tour of Trang An was a highlight of her visit to Vietnam. During the boat tour of the site, Senator Lines admired Trang An's stunning natural beauty, characterized by its majestic mountain ranges, and appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the local people. She commended Ninh Binh's approach to tourism development, which has successfully attracted numerous visitors, including many Australians. Senator Lines also expressed her hope that more Australians will visit Ninh Binh in the future.
The Trang An Landscape Complex was designated a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in 2014. Covering an area of 12,252 hectares, it stretches across 20 communes and wards within five districts and cities of Ninh Binh. The complex includes notable landmarks such as the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the Trang An-Tam Coc-Bich Dong Scenic Landscape, and the Hoa Lu Special-Use Forest.
