The Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
located in the northern province of Ninh Binh, Vietnam, is not only famous for

significance. Over the years, archaeologists have made numerous discoveries

thousands of years. These findings have provided valuable insights into early

The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the Trang An Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and
Natural Heritage Site, making it the first mixed heritage site in Southeast
Asia. Over the past 10 years, the world heritage title has been fully
leveraged, serving as a springboard for promoting sustainable tourism
development, creating livelihoods for the local community, and raising
awareness of heritage conservation. In 2024, the Trang An Scenic Landscape
Complex is also honored to be nominated in the Impactful
Destination category of the Kotler Award.
