Nine new members elected to the World Heritage Committee

The 24th General Assembly of the States Parties to the World Heritage Convention is meeting from 22 to 23 November 2023 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, convening the 195 States Parties to the World Heritage Convention.
During the session, the General Assembly elected nine members to the World Heritage Committee:
Ukraine, Republic of Korea, Viet Nam, Kenya, Senegal, Lebanon, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Türkiye
The current composition of the World Heritage Committee is therefore as follows:
Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Türkiye, Ukraine, Viet Nam, Zambia
